Description
This is a two-storey building located to the east of the Keep at the Barracks, constructed in grey stone with a slate roof. The upper storey features ashlar stonework, while the lower storey is made of rubble with ashlar dressings. The sides of the building have a lower floor made of larger rusticated stone and a smaller coursed stone above.
Facing the parade ground, there is a two-storey verandah made of ashlar with a flat roof supported by Tuscan piers, consisting of seven bays and featuring iron railings on the upper level. The building has irregular fenestration, with nine-pane windows. The ground floor doors include overlights, while the first-floor doors do not.
At the rear, which faces the Watton, there are six first-floor windows similar to those at the front, although the second bay is blind.
