Description
Ffynnonau Cottage is a two-storey house featuring thick stone rubble walls and a slate gabled roof, with painted roughcast and pebbledash render. It has a stone chimney stack at the south end. The former entrance front faces east, with the older part on the left side, which includes two 2-light casement windows on the first floor and a 3-light window along with a single-light window flanking a central blocked doorway below. At the north end, there is a 20th-century gabled bay that has a tall 2-light casement window partly in the roof space on the first floor and a larger window below. The right return of this block features a modern doorway. The rear of this block has a 2-light casement window on each floor. To the right, there is a gabled dormer and a 2-light casement window with a tiny square window above. At right angles, there is a modern extension built in a matching style and materials. The south end of the building is in exposed stone and includes a late 20th-century conservatory.
