Description
5 Belle Vue Road is part of a row of two cottages, featuring one storey with an attic and two storeys. The cottages have stone walls and slate roofs. No 5, located at the southern end, has a southeast return elevation with a wide rendered gable that includes two-light wood casement windows both above and below. The wall facing Belle Vue Road is made of stone rubble and features a catslide dormer, along with a 12-pane sash window on the ground floor.
To the north (left), there is a wide gable with an external chimney breast, rendered below and topped with a brick stack. A casement window is positioned to the right at first floor level, with a 12-pane sash window below. To the left of the chimney breast, the apex of the gable has a first floor two-light modern casement window set under a semi-circular relieving arch, with a similar window to its left. On the ground floor, there is a doorway flanked by 12-pane sash windows.
Further to the north (left), beyond the gable, there is a catslide dormer and two 12-pane sash windows, one of which is set in a former vehicle doorway. There is also a lean-to extension at the north gable end.
