Description

A row of cottages, now converted into two dwellings, dates from the 18th century and is located on the north side of Sutton High Street. The building is timber-framed with colourwashed roughcast render and has a clay tile roof. It originally comprised four rooms per cottage. The two-storey road elevation features four two-light casement windows on the ground floor, two two-light casement windows on the first floor, and a single, centrally positioned box dormer window in the attic. All windows have glazing bars. There are two rendered brick stacks running along the double ridge. The gable ends feature two-light casement windows to the first floor, and decorative bargeboards with drop finials. The rear elevation has four doorways with a variety of doors.
