Description
Pentre-ucha is a two-storey, two-unit cottage built from local uncoursed stone with a slate roof and a tile ridge. At the rear (west) of the cottage, there is a large lateral chimney surrounded by a later catslide roofed extension.
The house faces east towards a garden. On the left side, there is a boarded door, and to the right above it, a two-light casement window with small panes, which has had its opening slightly reduced. Below this, there is a steel window. On the left (south) side facing the approach lane, there are small-pane mullion and transom windows both above and below, set in openings with stone segmental arches, along with a small multi-pane window in the rear extension. The right side features two small windows that are placed irregularly. There is also a door and window at the rear.
The cottage has a two-unit, two-storey plan with an outshut and retains its large fireplace, which has been restored.
