Moeliwrch

Moeliwrch is a large L-shaped farmhouse constructed in painted quasi-rubble masonry. The older part of the building, located on the downslope to the left, is partly three storeys and partly two storeys, with walls approximately 1 meter thick. It features a large lateral chimney on the left side, behind which is a low lean-to structure that covers a doorway. The front windows are vertically aligned, and the eaves of the main range have been raised at both the front and the right side.

To the right, there is a later wing that has a symmetrical front with three windows and a central entrance. A small modern single-storey annex is also present on the right. The roofs are covered with slate and have a tile ridge, with brickwork chimney stacks.

The windows have been renewed, with some now made of uPVC, but they remain in their original openings. The main door is semi-glazed and features a small rain hood.

The older downslope range has three storeys at the front, with the ground floor being 1 meter lower than that of the rear section. The partition between the three-storey and two-storey parts is timber-framed. The rear wall contains a very large fireplace, which is now walled up but was sketched by North. To the right of this fireplace is an originally external 15th-century pointed doorway with a segmental rear arch, which now leads into the later wing of the house. A staircase is located on the left side. The chamber floor features a chamfered main beam and chamfered and stopped common joints. The visible roof carpentry is utilitarian, with windbracing.

The interior of the later wing has not been inspected.
