Description

The Old White Lion is a symmetrical building with two windows, consisting of one and a half storeys, constructed from local stone with a roughcast front. It features a slate roof with a tile ridge and brick chimneys at each end. The upper windows are hornless sash types of unequal size, each with 12 panes, set within stone gabled and coped dormers. The lower windows are also hornless sash types, again of unequal size, but with 20 panes. The central doorway is framed by a slightly advancing stone surround that includes a string course and crenellation, although the original door has been replaced. The interior has not been seen.
