Description

This is a K-6 type telephone call-box located in Llansilin village. It is a square, red kiosk made of cast iron, designed to the standard specification of architect Giles Gilbert Scott from London. The call-box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, along with red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal bars on the horizontal panels. The rear is blank, and it stands on a moulded plinth.
