Description

This is a K6 type telephone call box located in The Square. It is made of cast iron and follows the standard design by Giles Gilbert Scott. The call box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, along with red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides have raised surrounds, and the door has marginal bars with horizontal glazing. The rear is blank and includes a foundry plate, and it stands on a moulded plinth.
