Description
Glanant is a terrace of early to mid-19th century cottages constructed from rubble stone and topped with slate roofs. Bridge House, part of this terrace, consists of a pair of three-storey buildings. Access to the first floor is from Swan Path on the west side, while the ground floor can be reached from the river path on the east side. The building features a boarded door with a heavy frame and irregularly placed nine-pane windows with Brecon hoppers, along with brick gable stacks.
At the northwest end, Glanant is set back approximately 1.2 meters from the river frontage. It has a wide opening at river level that provides access to two parallel stone storage vaults, along with a boarded door and a side window. The first floor contains six-pane sash windows, while the second floor has four-pane windows. There is also a lean-to at the northwest end, which has a central door.
