Description
Ashburnham House is a three-storey building featuring a pebbledashed facade with large rendered quoins and a slate roof. The structure has four window bays, with a quoined door located in the third bay. This door is recessed and has a canopy above it, along with a half-glazed design and a 4-paned overlight. Each side of the door are tripartite 12-pane sash windows, and there is a narrow plate glass sash window in the left end bay, which also includes a secondary glazed door. On the second floor, there are 12-paned sashes and 9-pane square sashes, all of which are adorned with moulded plaster architraves and stone sills. The building features paired modillion panelled eaves and gable stacks, with a long stair window on the right gable. Additionally, there is an added stack to the rear and a rear extension.
