Description

This is a K6 type telephone call-box located to the southeast of St Peter's Church. It is a square kiosk made of cast iron, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott. The call-box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, along with red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides have raised surrounds, and the door includes marginal bars with horizontal glazing. The rear is blank and has a foundry plate, and it stands on a moulded plinth.
