Description
The War Memorial is a stone structure that stands on a plinth and a base of two steps. It is designed in the shape of a Celtic cross, clearly inspired by the Carew Cross. The memorial features interlace designs on the face of the head and shaft, with the arms of the cross-head overlapping the ring. On the south face, the main inscription lists seven names, framed by panels of interlace design, with the lettering carved to a high standard. The rear of the memorial is plain, except for a verse of Scripture.
