Description
Glanrhyd Farm is a lofted single-storey former cow house built from rubble stone with larger quoins. It features openings with flat arches, a renewed slate roof, and skylights. The central gable has a replaced door with a loft window above it. To the right of the gable, there is a window (which was formerly a ventilation slit and has the head taken from a former window in the gable end), another window, a doorway, and a further window. On the left side of the gable, there is a ventilation slit, followed by a window (also formerly a ventilation slit), a doorway, and finally a window at the left end (which was also formerly a ventilation slit). Beneath the eaves, there is a superimposed row of four blocked ventilation strips. An L-shaped extension, added in the 1990s, is set back against the right (northeast) gable end and contains inserted lower-storey windows and a loft window in the left gable end. The rear of the building retains three original ventilation strips but has five inserted windows, including a stair light. The building was not inspected.
