Description
Plas y Mwswm is a two-storey cottage with two bays, offset to the right. The building is constructed of rubble stone and has a whitewashed front elevation, while the lower gable wall is cement rendered. It features a slate roof with rendered gable stacks. The cottage has sash windows with narrow projections, consisting of 12 panes on the ground floor and 6 over 3 panes on the upper floor. The eaves are interrupted by triangular gablets. There is a central boarded door, which is a modern replacement, accessed by three steps. A single-storey extension, added later, is located to the right. The rear is said to have a part catslide extension and a rooflight in the main roof slope.
Although not inspected, it is reported that the cottage retains a two-room layout on the ground floor, with a kitchen to the left and a parlour to the right, and a staircase located by the left stack.
