Description

A 2-storey cottage of limewashed rubble-stone walls, slate roof and central brick rendered stack, with gable stack to the R cut down and replaced by a chimney pot. The house was probably originally intended as a reflected pair of cottages. In the lower storey is a boarded door to the L under wooden lintel, while on the R side is a horizontal sliding sash window in the position of a second intended doorway. Two small-pane fixed windows are between. The upper storey has 2 large-pane horizontal-siding sashes. A lean-to against the L gable end has a boarded door under a brick segmental head. An earlier single storey cottage is against the R gable end.
