Description
Glandwr is a farmhouse built from colourwashed rubble stone, featuring an asbestos roof and stone end stacks, with the larger stack located on the left. The building has a long front elevation that includes an attached outbuilding with the same roof profile on the left side. The house has an off-set, three-window, two-storey front. It features cambered-headed 12-pane sash windows on either side of the door, which has an overlight above it. To the left on the first floor, there is a small 12-pane sash window, while a smaller window is located above the door, and the right window is missing its fenestration. The door and upper windows have timber lintels, while the lower windows are framed with stone voussoirs. Slate sills are present beneath the windows. A datestone reading "ISE 1790" is positioned to the left of centre on the first floor. At the rear, there is an outshut and an added outside kitchen that is set at right angles behind the main structure.
The attached outbuilding, which has no structural division from the house, features a gable end cart-entry and outside steps leading to a loft door. A lean-to has been added to the rear of the outbuilding.
Inside, there is a dog-leg stair, a large timber-lintel above the main fireplace, and timber partitions throughout the space.
