Description
Plas Lawrence is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, featuring slate roofs and stone end stacks, with the larger stack located on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window front, which includes 12-pane sash windows. The upper windows are positioned under the eaves, while the lower windows and the central door have cambered painted stone voussoirs and stone sills. The front door is a four-panel design.
The rear of the farmhouse is largely collapsed, with outshuts on either side of the central stair gable; both outshut roofs are missing, and the gable end has also collapsed. The south end wall is slate hung. An attached outbuilding at the north end has an asbestos roof and features a six-bay front.
Inside, there is a simple dog-leg stair located at the rear of the house, and the interior includes sawn pine timbers. In the overgrown south embankment wall of the front garden, there are two beeboles. At the time of inspection in 1991, the property was in derelict condition.
