Description
72 The Struet is part of a pair of houses, originally four separate homes, that date back to an unspecified period. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic, featuring two window bays and a doorway each. They have a steep slate roof and stone chimney stacks, with a band running between the floors.
The exterior of Nos. 71 and 72 is pebbledashed, and they include two modern dormers. The windows are small two-light wood casements, with two on the first floor and three on the ground floor; the middle window was formerly a doorway. The doorway has a cambered head and a modern door.
Inside, Nos. 71 and 72 are said to retain a stone fireplace and have thin ceiling joists on the ground floor.
