Description
81 The Struet is part of a row of early to mid 19th century three-storey houses, which includes Nos. 80, 82, and 83. Each house features one window bay and a doorway, with the doorways arranged in pairs. The houses have slate roofs. Nos. 82 and 83 are pebbledashed, while No. 81 is constructed of colourwashed stone rubble. No. 80 has an exposed stone ground floor with smooth render above. The top floors have low windows, while the first and ground floors have taller windows. There is a low plinth.
Nos. 80 and 81 each have modern windows on the top floor, and both feature 4-pane sash windows on the first and ground floors. No. 80 has a six-panelled door, and No. 81 has a half-glazed panelled door.
The rear elevations of these houses rise to four storeys and elegantly overhang the River Honddu, creating a picturesque view.
