Description
83 The Struet is part of a row of early to mid 19th century three-storey houses, which also includes Nos. 80, 81, and 82. Each house has one window bay and a doorway, with the doorways arranged in pairs. The roofs are covered with slate. Nos. 82 and 83 are finished with pebbledash, while No. 81 is made of colourwashed stone rubble, and No. 80 features an exposed stone ground floor with smooth render above. The windows on the top floors are low, while the first and ground floors have taller windows, and there is a low plinth.
Nos. 82 and 83 each have a plain two-light casement window on the second floor and a horned sash window without glazing bars on the first and ground floors. No. 82 has a mid-20th century door, and No. 83 has a four-panelled door.
The rear elevations of these houses rise to four storeys and overhang the River Honddu, creating a picturesque view.
