Description
Fronrhydnewydd is a 2½-storey house built from rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and a central blue-brick chimney stack. The windows are iron-framed casements with small-pane Gothic glazing, which is typical of the Abbey Cwmhir estate. The side and rear openings are topped with segmental brick arches. The gable-end front is covered in slate and includes a 3-light window on the lower floor, two 2-light windows above, and a single-light window in the attic. The entrance is located in a lean-to porch that is set back to the right and has a replacement door. Behind this porch, there is a later 20th-century brick lean-to with a boarded door and a casement window. Above the lean-tos, there is a single-light stair window. At the rear, there are two 2-light windows on the lower floor, with a boarded door to the right. The upper floor features two 2-light windows and a single-light attic window.
