Description
Cwm Derw is a 2-storey house with two windows, constructed of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features a stone stack on the right side, which is partially fallen, and a brick stack on the left. The lower storey openings have cambered stone heads. The doorway on the right has a boarded door, while the windows are replacement wooden casements, with a 3-light window on the right and a 2-light window on the left in the lower storey. The upper storey has 2-light windows beneath the eaves.
The left gable end retains the lintel of a former attic window and has a replaced window on the lower left under a cambered head, along with an inserted 4-pane sash window above it in a brick surround. Further to the left is the side wall of a rear outshut, which includes a boarded door under a cambered head and an iron-framed attic window above it.
On the right side of the front, there is a vertical joint that separates the house from an added stable, which has a small front window and a smaller loft opening. Above the loft opening is a stone ledge with pigeon holes. The gable end of the stable, which is partly collapsed, retains the jambs of a doorway on the left side and a loft opening. The property has not been inspected.
