Description
Rhiw is a 2-storey house with three windows, built of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features a large square chimney stack on the left end and a smaller stack on the right end, both with drip moulds indicating that the roof was once thatched. The openings are positioned to the right of the center, with the central doorway featuring a boarded door. The windows are later 19th century 12-pane horned sashes, except for the lower left window, which is a 9-pane fixed window. The right gable end has partly collapsed, where an added wing or cow house was once attached. The rear of the house, which was originally blank, now has an opening on the lower right that is also partly collapsed. The building was in poor condition at the time of inspection.
