Description
The lychgate to the Church of St Mary is a Grade II listed structure featuring an open timber-frame design set on low stone walls. It has a slate gabled roof with plain bargeboards. There are broad openings at both ends, flanked by narrow panels and vertical framing in the gable. The sides are supported by vertical posts, with the outer posts featuring large brackets that support the outer rafters. The lychgate also includes double wooden gates.
