Description

The lychgate at the Church of St Mary is a simple stone structure featuring inner and outer gables topped with a slate roof that has cavetto eaves. It includes near semi-circular arches, with the inner arch supported by a backing arch of shaped timber, while the outer arch has been replaced. The lychgate is fitted with iron gates and has an open raftered roof supported by a single tier of purlins.
