Description
The roadside barn at Llwyn-dol-ithel farm is built from irregularly shaped large rubble boulders and features a slate roof with rubble-coped gables. At the rear, there is an integral lean-to that includes an access door and two small windows. The roadside elevation has a central boarded door with a pitching door above it, and on either side, there are pairs of slit vents for each internal level. Additionally, five slit vents are arranged geometrically on the southwest gable end.
Inside, the barn is divided by roof trusses into three bays, with low tie beams and queen posts supporting a collar. The integral outshut is supported by a curved strut extending from the principal rafter.
