Description
Beudy at Rhiwogof is a 4-bay farm building situated on the slopes of Foel-ddu. This structure is built of slate stone on boulder foundations and features an old irregular slate roof on one side, supported by boulder-coped gables. The rear of the building has been covered with corrugated iron. The entrance is located in the second bay from the uphill end, leading into the cowhouse. There is a small square ventilation window near the upper end and a pitching door in the gable. The lower two bays have a separate door that opens to the yard, along with an added lean-to stone structure that extends under the roof.
The interior is divided into four bays by tie beam and principal rafter trusses, one of which has a high-set collar. The cowhouse is floored over and features slate stall partitions that are enhanced with wood, along with tethering posts for each stall.
