Description
Crud-y-gwyn is a row of 10 workers' cottages located at Nos 1-10 Hillsborough Terrace in Corris Uchaf. These cottages were constructed with rubble stonework and have been whitewashed on the front, topped with slate roofs. They are arranged in a straight line, with each cottage featuring a single 2-storey bay. Each has a lateral framed and boarded door, along with 16-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. The cottages have transverse stone stacks positioned on the party walls.
At the northern end, the cottages have replacement windows on the ground and first floors, along with a modern hardwood door. There is also a two-storey extension that is in line with the row but set back from the facade. The gable end of this extension features hacienda-style rendering. Various alterations have been made to the rear of the cottages.
