Description

Gwynfa Bach is a row of 10 workers' cottages located at Nos 1-10 Hillsborough Terrace in Corris Uchaf. These cottages were built with rubble stonework, which has been whitewashed on the front, and feature slate roofs. They are arranged in a straight line, with each cottage consisting of a single 2-storey bay. Each has a lateral framed and boarded door, along with 16-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. There are transverse stone stacks on the party walls, and various alterations have been made at the rear.

One of the cottages has a diagonally boarded panelled door and large inserted 12-paned windows with heavy glazing bars on the ground floor. This cottage has been amalgamated with No 3, which also features a similar large window on the ground floor.
