Description
The Former National School is now a hall and is a single-storey building with a basement. It features a roughcast exterior and a slate roof with end stacks; the left end has a small brick stack, while the right end has a pair of short octagonal shafts. The front elevation includes three large pointed windows and a door positioned low to the right. The windows are fitted with late 19th century or early 20th century timber Y-tracery, and the door is a plain boarded design accessed by a flight of five external steps. The basement has two boarded doors, one located at the extreme left and the other left of centre. The north end wall contains two similar pointed windows. The rear of the building features two similar pointed windows, a low opening for the basement, and an added rear wing to the right.
