Description

The Stores is a terraced house that once served as a shop, built in the 19th century. It features painted roughcast walls, a low-pitched slate roof, and a red brick chimney stack at one end. The building is two stories high with a three-window front, and to the left is a two-window house that matches the adjoining property, Cartref. The right side has a broad section that is slightly angled back, with one window above the ground floor shopfront.

The windows are fitted with marginal glazed sashes, all having slate sills and raised stucco surrounds. To the left of the canted angle, there is a painted timber doorcase for the house door, which has incised vertical decoration on the pilasters, decorative scrolled brackets, and a cornice.

The right section includes a timber shop front featuring a large eight-pane shop window to the left of a recessed door. This is flanked by plain timber pilasters with console brackets supporting the cornice. There is a plain fascia located between the brackets, and the cornice projects forward over the brackets. The shop entrance has a four-panel door with two glazed panels and a small rectangular overlight. The building has replacement uPVC guttering and downpipes, and a plain timber board at the eaves. The property has not been inspected.
