Description

This is a cast-iron telephone call-box situated outside the Old Pound. The call-box is square in plan and has raised surrounds to the sides and door. It features marginal glazing bars on the glazed horizontal panels of the door and sides; the rear is blank. The building stands on a moulded plinth and has a shallow domed roof with four lunettes. These lunettes contain embossed King George VI crowns above three illuminated panels with lettering, and ventilation slits.
