Description

This is a cast-iron telephone call-box from the early to mid 20th century. It has a square shape with raised surrounds on the sides and door. The door and sides feature glazed horizontal panels with marginal glazing bars, while the back is blank. The call-box has a moulded plinth and a shallow domed roof that includes four lunettes, each containing an embossed George VI crown above three illuminated lettered panels.
