Description
The Butcher's Arms Inn is a 2-storey inn with a painted roughcast exterior, featuring a long three-window range and a slated roof. The end stacks are rebuilt in red brick from the 20th century. The building has a raised painted plinth and a first-floor sill band. The upper storey has four-pane painted timber sash windows, while the ground floor outer bays contain larger 12-pane sash windows. The central ground floor entrance features a mid-20th century painted panelled timber door with a glazed upper panel, set within a plain raised stucco doorcase. A projecting pub sign is located on the upper storey between the left and centre bay, supported by a 20th-century scrolled ironwork bracket that displays a painted dragon from Felinfoel Brewery. The building also has a cast iron gutter and downpipe.
