Description

The Tregib Arms is a three-storey inn built with painted roughcast and features stucco dressings. It has a slate roof and roughcast end stacks. The building has a three-window range and is adorned with a small modillion eaves cornice. The windows are horned four-pane sashes, square on the upper floor, and there is a central six-panel door framed by a mid-19th century classical surround. This surround includes pilasters with facetted blocks at the pedestals, a frieze, a cornice with modillions and rosettes, and a top ridged blocking course. A stuccoed panel between the upper floors displays the name 'Tregib Arms'. The north end wall is blank.

To the south, there is a two-storey service wing that has one plate glass sash on each floor and a roughcast south end stack. The rear of the building features a central first-floor stair light and lean-tos on the ground floor. Inside, there is a central hall with a bar to the south, which includes a six-panel door.
