Description
Nos 24 and 25 Bridge Street is a late 19th-century, three-storey commercial building with four windows. It features colourwashed cement render on a rubble base and has a moderately pitched slate roof with oversailing eaves and deep verges. There is a truncated stack at the right end.
On the second floor of No 24, there are two sash windows located under the eaves, while No 25 has shallower Victorian sashes. The first floor of No 24 has no windows, whereas No 25 has two Victorian sashes.
The doorway for No 24 is at the extreme left, accompanied by a shop window and loading door to the right, which has half-glazed shutters beneath a corniced hood with a plain fascia. There are also two small windows set high to the right, featuring two vertical mullions and internal shutters.
No 25 has a doorway on the left with a moulded cornice, plain frieze, and pilasters, topped by a rectangular fanlight over a plank door. To the right is a shop window, which includes a cornice over plain pilasters and a three-light transomed shop window.
At the time of inspection, the building was unoccupied.
