Description

3 Bank Terrace is a three-storey and basement house dating from the 18th century. The exterior is colourwashed roughcast on a rubble base. It has a gently pitched slate roof with oversailing eaves and tall rendered stacks. The windows are 12-pane sashes on the second floor, with similar windows on the first floor and flanking a central doorway. Above the four-panelled and moulded door is a shallow rectangular fanlight. A lateral stone staircase leads down to the street. Small square basement windows are located to the right and left, and a modern door replaces the original basement doorway to the extreme left.
