Description
This is a red-painted cast-iron telephone call-box, dating to the 20th century. The kiosk has two glazed sides and a wooden door, both with matching glazing arranged in horizontal panes and narrow marginal panes. It features a raised plinth, raised surrounds to the windows and door, and a shallow-domed top. The top section includes illuminated lettered panels on each side, positioned beneath lunettes displaying a crown representing George VI.
