Description

Gwynfe Church Hall is a former church built from rubble stone with a slate roof and a later wooden bellcote. The building consists of a small single chamber featuring a large central porch on the south side, with one arched window on each side, which likely dates back to the original construction. The large northeast wing is probably the transept referenced in 1871. The west end of the building is rendered and includes one arched window with wooden Y-tracery. The bellcote has stone sides and a slate gabled roof, which may have been rebuilt since 1900.

On the south side, there is a small arched window with stone voussoirs and 20th-century glazing, positioned on either side of the broad stone porch that has an arched entry and a low-pitched roof. Inside the porch, there are two benches and a boarded door. The east end features an arched window with wood Y-tracery. The northeast wing to the right has a similar arched window with Y-tracery, followed by a door with a pointed brick head. The north end of the building is windowless, and there is a west rear outshut with a north door. The north wall of the original building also has no windows.
