Description

This is a cast iron telephone call-box with a square plan. It features raised surrounds on the sides and door, and the door and sides have marginal glazing bars with glazed horizontal panels, while the rear is blank. The call-box has a moulded plinth and a shallow domed roof. The roof includes four lunettes that contain embossed crowns of King George VI, positioned above three illuminated lettered panels and ventilation slits.
