Description
Ty Rhos is a house featuring colourwashed roughcast cladding over stone rubble, topped with a close eaved slate roof and brick end stacks. It is two-storey with a cellar and has a three-window range. The building includes two roof lights and 6-pane sash windows on both floors, as well as a central enclosed porch. The porch has a gabled roof covered with 20th-century tiles and small pointed windows on each side wall. There are two slate steps leading up to a 20th-century half-glazed door with a large, 2-pane overlight. To the left, a flight of ten steps leads down to an area under the porch, which features a large trap door in the wall at the bottom of the steps, a half-glazed ledged door beneath the main door, and a 4-pane sash window to the cellar on the right. The property is enclosed by a rendered dwarf wall topped with iron railings that have fleur-de-lys finials. It is noted that the roof was previously covered with grouted cement.
