Description
The Black Fox Bar is a house with colourwashed roughcast cladding, dating from the 18th century. It features a slate eaves roof and stone end stacks, with the right stack rendered. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window range. A large 20th-century long flat dormer is present in the roof. On the first floor, there are twelve-pane sash windows, and to the left of the doorway, which is offset to the left of centre, there is a 16-pane sash window to the right. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door with two steps leading up to it. All openings are adorned with stucco eared surrounds, and there is a moulded keystone above the doorway. The building also features a stucco plinth. The previous listing noted that the roof was made of grouted cement and did not have the wide dormer.
