Description
The Globe Inn is an inn featuring colourwashed roughcast cladding and a slate roof, with a tall roughcast stack located at the right end; the left stack has been removed. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range that is offset to the right. On the upper floor, there are three square 9-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has a 12-pane sash window on either side of a central doorway, which has a 4-panelled door. The ground floor windows are framed with plain stucco eared surrounds and a stucco plinth. Since 1978, the ground floor windows have been improved.
Inside, there is a stone fireplace at the west end of the ground floor. The bressumer of this fireplace is said to have originated from Tre-coed near Jordonston, which is the ancestral home of Prime Minister David Lloyd George, who lived from 1863 to 1945.
