Description

8 Rock Street is a house constructed from colourwashed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range, which includes 20th-century plastic windows with painted slate sills. The central entrance boasts an original six-panel door, complemented by a traceried half-elliptical fanlight and panelled reveals. A timber classical porch enhances the entrance, supported by two crude fluted columns with entablatures and an open pediment. To the right of the entrance, there is a basement door leading to the ground floor, positioned next to a low raised terrace that has been faced with 20th-century stone.
