Description

Arvonia is a terraced house constructed in painted roughcast and stucco, topped with a slate roof featuring bracketed eaves and a stone stack on the left end. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range, showcasing late 19th century or early 20th century plate glass sashes with painted slate sills. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with an overlight, set within a large timber porch that is corniced and glazed, also dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. The porch is adorned with an elaborate frosted and etched glass panel on the half-glazed door, along with side-lights and top-lights. Stucco quoins and window surrounds match those of the adjacent property, No 6.
