Description
Nos. 18 and 20 Hill Street are a pair of terraced houses built with painted lined stucco and topped with a slate roof featuring flat eaves. They have a similar eaves line to No. 16 but a steeper roof. The left end has a rendered stack, while the right end has a brick stack. Each house consists of three storeys and three bays. The windows have been renewed and are horned sash windows, with 9 panes on the top floor and 12 panes on the other floors. The centre doorways are recessed, featuring five new six-panel doors with overlights. In 1974, No. 18 had double entrance doors made up of three panels each, with rectangular panels at the top and bottom and a circular panel in the centre, along with a shop window on either side. No. 20 had a six-panel door with the top four panels fielded and a modern door to the left. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have been fully altered.
