Description

14 Hill Street is a terraced house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a slate roof. The house stands three storeys high and has two bays. The windows are small paned sashes with stucco keystones: the top floor has 9 panes, the first floor has 12 panes, and the ground floor has a 20-pane window, with the outer panes being narrow. Notably, this ground floor window is not aligned and is set to the right of centre. To the extreme left is a recessed door that shares a doorcase with No 12. The doorcase is adorned with three pilasters and an overall architrave, featuring a plain frieze and a moulded cornice. The door itself is a two-panel design set in flush panelled reveals, with a slate threshold. The interior has not been inspected.
