Description

85 Hill Street is a terraced house dating from the 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a slate close-eaved roof with a brick stack at the left end. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range that is offset to the left. The top floor has two renewed 9-pane sash windows, while the first floor has two renewed 12-pane sash windows. The ground floor on the left has a modern tripartite window with a configuration of 4-12-4 panes. To the right, there is an arched doorway beneath a 20th-century steep open pediment. The entrance is a 20th-century 6-panel door, accompanied by a 20th-century radiating-bar fanlight.
