Description
15 Albany Terrace is a group of outbuildings that includes a lean-to constructed from red brick and rubble stone, topped with a slate hipped roof, situated against the left side of No 14, which is currently used as an architect's office. The side wall facing the courtyard is made of red brick, while the end wall facing the street is composed of rubble with brick patching. A boundary wall with a doorway leads to an outbuilding at the corner with Hill Street; this wall is made of rubble stone with some red brick infill and has an asbestos sheet roof. The gable end facing Hill Street features a cart entry with a brick cambered head and modern doors. At the back of the courtyard, there is a rubble rear wall of an outbuilding that faces onto Hill Street, which has a roughcast front with a small loft door on the extreme right, situated above two modern garage doors. The end walls of this outbuilding are made of rubble stone. The lean-to against No 14 has been converted into an architect's office and retains exposed original pine sloping beams.
